Hello, and thanks for stopping by the studio. I am a self taught artist with a passion for learning.  My pen to paper started early, doodling on an envelope as I talked on the phone, making some motions over and over. Visualization, lying in bed looking out the window at the trees early in the morning. I’d see faces of people and animals, then try to remember how the shadows created them.

     Copic markers were my introduction into the actual world of color and shading, I have learned so much by using them. I started to do paint pours, which are very rewarding, but I needed to create more, to learn different methods. So now I’m an ongoing, never ending career student of art and life. My friend Janie gave me the best compliment when she said “I’m thinking about you. I’m a great admirer of your art! Suki, you always were a great artist. Your pallet were your words and stories until you took up your first felt tip. “. Wow, who doesn’t love to be “seen”. Well, enjoy your tour, take your time, ponder your own thoughts and feelings.
